Diesel, kerosene prices fall by Tk1 per litre

The government has cut the prices of diesel and kerosene by Tk1 per litre for the month of July in line with the automated price formula.

Each litre of diesel and kerosene will be sold at Tk106.75, which was Tk107.75 in June, said a notification of Ministry of Power, Energy and Mineral Resources on Sunday. The new prices will take effect from 1 July, it said. However, the prices of petrol and octane were kept unchanged at Tk127 and Tk131 respectively. This fresh adjustment of fuel prices is a part of the government's automated pricing system, which aligns local fuel prices with international market rates.
